Getting rid of a page break is simple: Highlight the blank page, preferably to the end, and hit the Backspace or Delete button.

Tip 2: Hit the Delete Button.
This intriguing alternative is for those who don't use the mouse much while work on a presentation.
If you don,t want to waste time highlighting the page then- Position your cursor at the end of the previous page and, instead of pressing backspace, press the delete button-if clicking one time does not work then press it a few more times.
The trick is that this won't move the cursor and delete the contents of the page, meanwhile, all the empty line breaks on that extra page will be deleted one at a time. Till finally, there is no page break.
If the problem with your project is too much content, and you find a page or two that you could omit, getting rid of that extra page become pretty simple.
Just click and drag your cursor to highlight the unwanted text or images, then press your keyboard's Backspace or Delete button. All that content will be deleted, and the pages with it.
Deleting extra content here and there in between the presentation will also do the trick if it adds up to a full page of space worth content.

Tip 4: Check Custom Spacing
Spacing is always a particular part of editing documents and, Google Docs has made sure that it becomes hassle-free to customize the spacing between lines and paragraphs. This method is a great alternative in situations where you don't wish to omit any data from your presentation.
So, instead of creating a new page at the end of your document where you don't need one. You can decrease the default spacing of a page. To see if the custom spacing is to blame, try the following steps.
Step 1: Navigate to Format within the toolbar, then hover over Line & paragraph spacing. And finally, click on Custom spacing.
Step 2: A custom spacing prompt will pop up. Here, reduce the spacing between lines and paragraphs and press Apply to confirm.
If you want to reduce or adjust the spacing of lines & paragraphs even quickly, then highlight the entire document first, then navigate to Format within the toolbar. Next, hover over Line & paragraph spacing.
Here default spacing values will be given at the top of the drop-down menu. Select any to adjust accordingly.
Tip 5: Adjust margins
Need all the content on a single page; setting page margins will surely help. When page margins are too long, Google Doc ends up adding a blank page. To check whether the unwanted page resulted from a large margin, do the following:
Step 1: Go to File in the toolbar at the top and select Page Setup .
Step 2: In the Page setup window, adjust the margins by assigning smaller values.

The header and footer margins of a page take up a lot of space which ultimately hampers adjusting the page margins to accord more content. If you want more writing space on a page, then reducing header and footer margins before adjusting page borders is a great way to go.
Step 1: First Double click at the top of the page to open the Header tab. Then click on Options on the right side of the tab. Now click Header Format.
Step 2: In the follow up prompt, adjust the margins of the Header and Footer accordingly.
